Hello! My name is Lyndell, and I started this little business back in December 2020, during the COVID pandemic. It all began with creating shreddable, safer toy options for my own pet birds. What started as a personal project quickly grew into something more, as my creations gained interest through online bird communities, friends, and social media. Soon after, I launched a Facebook page and began taking orders.

As my toy range expanded and my customer base grew, it felt like the right time to open an online shop. Since then, designing and crafting toys for my lovely customers and their feathered companions has become a joyful part of my daily life.

I run Busy Beaks Bird Toys entirely on my own, working from a small workshop at home. As both a bird enthusiast and a lifelong animal lover, I dedicate a great deal of time and care to every toy I make. My focus is on creating safe, enriching, wire-free destructible toys that birds—and other small pets—can safely enjoy. After all, a destroyed toy is a well-loved toy!

In addition to running Busy Beaks, I'm also a full-time parent, so every toy is handmade in the spare moments I can find. What began as a hobby has become a deeply fulfilling part of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve received from my wonderful customers and friends throughout this journey.
