Got a Balsa lover? These crunchy, lightweight, and natural hanging balsa logs are a fun and satisfying way to encourage chewing, shredding, and foraging! Each log has pre-drilled holes—perfect for offering natural browse, treats, millet bulbs, or threading through cord or leather for fun toy-making (or enjoyed as is!).
Cut from the Ochroma pyramidale tree (commonly known as the balsa tree), the logs have had their bark removed and have been carefully dried. Free from harmful tannins, toxins, or splinters, they’re a safe and simple chew treat for balsa-lovin’ beaks (and teeth!). Strung up with twisted paper cord, they can be easily hung from the top or sides of the cage for convenient pecking fun.
Due to the natural variation in branch thickness, each hanging log will differ slightly in size.
Each log measures approx 15cm in length.
Comes with a coloured non-toxic plastic hanging link.
